A former Nursing Administrator, I received my R.N.degree from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. I then obtained a B.S. in Nursing Education from Wilkes University.

In 1989 I decided to change careers, and became a real estate agent. I believed this was another career that would keep me in touch with people and enable me to practice the interpersonal skills I developed while a nurse.

I firmly believe in being thoroughly knowledgeable in my chosen field. So, I began an educational tract which would allow me to give my clients the level of professionalism they deserve.

1992- Completed course work to earn the Graduate of the Realtors Institute (G.R.I.) from The University of Virginia.

1994- Began studying for my Brokers license, a course that includes Real Estate Law, Finance, Brokerage and Appraisal. This is generally thought of as the equivalent of a Masters degree in Real Estate. I passed the exam in November 1994 and was licensed as a Broker in Virginia.

1996- Accredited Buyer Representative (A.B.R.). This designation was presented by the National Assoc. of Realtors®. I am a member of the Real Estate Buyers Agent Council (REBAC).

2000- Consumer Certified Real Estate Consultant ( C-CREC) designation. This allows me to offer a larger variety of real estate services to my clients.

2003- REALTOR e-PRO®. Real estate agents who have earned REALTOR e-PRO Certification are internet professionals who have completed extensive training using the Web. This means I am prepared to employ the latest tech nology for your benefit, just like you've grown to expect from a professional.
